The Middlebrooks Family: So.....3 months later....

Oh my goodness, where do I begin? First of all, I can not believe it's been 3 months since my last post. I feel like I say that a lot, but truly time is flying by! So in this time that I have fallen off the face of the earth, so much has happened. In a nutshell....

We have actually had 1 contract & another offer on the house that both fell through for the craziest reasons ever. Obviously both were not meant to be, but 3rd times a charm!

We also celebrated our 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY on May 6!!! Brian is the most amazing man & I can't believe how incredibly blessed I am to have him as my husband & the father of my children. I just love him!

We had AL's 1 year pictures made, although she was 16 months old :) It was supposed to be a surprise for Brian for Father's Day, but apparently I just can't keep anything from him. I slipped one day & tried to cover but Brian figured it out. The actual pictures he didn't see until Father's day though, so it still turned out ok. Here are a couple of our favorites...

Brian & I took AL to the Atlanta Zoo for the 1st time. Brian has become very protective of Ansley, which I think is so incredibly cute. As an example, when we got to the petting zoo, Brian was holding Ansley & didn't want to put her down. He told me, "You never know what animals will do Lauren". Let me restate that we were at the PETTING zoo :) Brian finally did put her down, but as you can see from the pictures, he never left her side.

Brian's baseball has started up again. Ans & I went to the 1st few games, but it has gotten too hot for us the last month or so.

We had a 3D ultrasound done of Baby #2. Since this is #2, we wanted it to still be exciting & new, so we asked them not to tell us the sex during the ultrasound but to write it down. Then we went to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner & opened the envelope there. As most of you know, it's a BOY!!! We couldn't believe it & as I recall, Brian said he was "going to do cartwheels out of the restaurant". We are both SO incredibly excited for our baby boy to arrive!

A couple of weeks ago, I left Brian & Ans for 5 days to go to a wedding in St. Paul, MN. While we were there, Lauren, Stephanie & I threw Krysta a Bridal Luncheon to bring the south to this northern wedding :) All the luncheon attendees were asked to wear a floppy hat. It was a lot of fun! As for the wedding, it was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. Krysta, you were absolutely stunning & the wedding was amazing! By the way, Brian did have a lot of help & everyone survived :)

Last but certainly not least, we just got back from the beach. We went back to Santa Rosa Beach (where we got married) with my family for 5 days. It was so wonderful & Ansley got to experience the sand & ocean for the first time. We had gotten a new camera right before we left, so there are a lot of pictures!
