In one week, we went from being quite secure, putting a contract on a lot & building our next home to Brian being laid off & getting our current house ready to sell. It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride around here lately. After the initial shock of Brian not having a job wore off, & we had to face the fact of having to wait a bit longer to turn Brian's house plan into our home, we are so excited about what our future holds. We know that God has a plan for us & that we will come out stronger & better in the end. It has been so great to have Brian at home & being able to spend more time with him. Ansley is loving some Daddy-time! Brian is actually still pretty busy with finishing the projects around our house. We have been thinking & talking about selling our house for a while, but didn't think it was the right time, you know economy-wise.
So now, we are jumping in, head first, eyes closed! We have ripped the band-aid off & it feels great! You would think that we would be devastated but we are nowhere close to that! We are actually quite giddy when we think about the next chapter of our lives & what God has in store for us. Looking back, this is going to be one of those life-defining moments.
I'd also like to thank our parents, siblings & friends for their love & support! We are so incredibly blessed to have you in our lives!

Keep me posted Lauren! I cant believe you are selling your house - you are almost done making it complete! But, I understand the temptation of a new house. You will be on house number three before I even hit one!
Well we really didn't want to sell it right away...we really have no choice now, unless Brian finds another job pretty quick.
